Hi Karen. It looks like we have a lot in common: both vegan, both single mothers, both freethinkers, etc. Too bad all the cool people live in Carrboro, Chapel Hill, Durham, etc. I'm way down here in Fuquay-Varina, blech. Oh well. Maybe we'll get to meet at an ALA meetup event someday. Take care.

Also, there is a documentary "Earthlings", at (www.Earthlings.com), which depicts animal abuse around the world. Difficult to see, yet I'd be interested in your thoughts/feelings about it.
