Introduction

  • Hey there Lisa Ray,
    sorry I missed ya !
I don't get out to Raleigh too often. It's kinda like the other side of the universe to me, especially with bicycle as my main form of transpo.. However, I hope you had a great time - and come to our Chap/Carrboro/Dur potluck through Triangle Living Foods sometime if you can.

  • good for you Lisa to stay away from the drugs. I believe any benefits from the drugs is way negated by the side effects. I also believe many of those benefits can be found in nature without side effects.

Good luck on your journey. I hope you enjoyed the chocolate class. I'm more inclined to the Triangle potlucks because they're typically closer for me (Durham/Chapel Hill/Carrboro).
Would love to meet you sometime, and if you find any good results from things, please feel welcomed to share !

  • I do think that the green drinks I make him help, but he's on a lot of drugs as well, so it's hard to isolate things.

The flavor I make with camu camu is the Superfood Almond Butter Chocolate Chunk - see it here:

  • Hey Lisa,
Warm welcome 2 the group on this cold day!
    :-)
My dad actually has parkinson's and I'm always searching 4 natural alternatives.

Recently I started a chocolate company and I created a flavor specifically 4 him w/ an ingredient that's supposed 2 B effective for parkinson's - which is Camu Camu Berry.

My dad doesn't take it everyday, so I don't know if it's as effective as touted.

Also Marine Phytoplankton is apparently effective.
    All the best ~
    Micah
